The Australian view

All is not well in the Australian camp.

First, there were reports of in-fighting, or at least, disagreement between the boss and the main protagonist.

Now, the press has got in on the act, however implausible the former player might be.

England must be chuckling at the Australians' ability to self destruct just 50 days away from the biggest series of their lives.

It's only going to get worse. Every single aussie pundit, former player, media rep is going to weigh in his or her opinion on the ashes: who will win; who will fail; what amazingly drastic changes are required to ensure success, etc. Sensationalist.

The english, in the mean while, will interview their players, mutter bold confidences in them and try and justify the past year of dreadful english cricket - whilst poking fun at the australian side of things.
